If you have experienced that feeling of excitement prior to a big event and have all of these positive vision of you doing everything right, then you are on the right track. Anyone who is about to venture to something new experiences the same wonderful feeling. Its a mixture of excitement and nervousness about something whose outcome is yet to be decided.

Any event that involves competition and public viewing has its strange way of getting on our nerves. Sometimes we can blame it on adrenaline. Such is the case of those who are planning to join the Virginia triathlons. Aside from the huge number of people who will be joining it, the thought of competing for three different cardio competitions can be exhilirating.

Just be reminded that the event is not for everyone. No matter how you like it, if your body does not permit you to get involved with such strenuous activity, then you are best forgetting the idea for now. Strengthen your stamina. Unless you are physically prepared, you better forget any plans of joining this strenuous activity. Being physically fit is necessary to ensure safety during the competition. Practice and monitor your progress. Lastly, devise a strategy that will help you monitor the progress of your practice. This is vital to measure the current capacities that you have and whether or not you are capable of handling the entire activity.
